Every Child Deserves to Learn

The primary objective of the education program at KSC is to ensure equitable access to education and provide necessary assistance to children, promoting their early development and fostering positive learning practices. KSC aims to achieve this by empowering local educational stakeholders with child development expertise and services, bridging gaps to offer more educational opportunities to children from diverse backgrounds.

Kurdistan Save the Children oversees various initiatives aimed at improving children's education, including the operation of two Children's Activity Centers across the Kurdistan Region, Shahid Jabbar High School, Educational Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, and Kaziwa Kindergarten in the Arbat Refugee camp.

In addition to the department activities, the centers have an important impact on implementing specific campaigns in public areas and preparing several events for raising awareness regarding children’s rights and education needs.
