Supporting Families Financially

Health program in KSC dedicates financial support to families who are in need. Part of the budget addresses to support families who purchase medicines, and another part of the budget provides to a portion of payments to the families who did surgery for their child in outside or inside Iraq. Certainly, the family selection will come after the case management process and following the beneficiary selection criteria. Aiding the most vulnerable families according to the health department’s criteria and final decision with considering available time and budget is one of the main goals of KSC.

Since May 2023, there is a partnership with Anwar Shekha High Hospital regarding referring the cases who need surgery, medication, diagnose, and etc. after receiving an official prescription from the parents that should be written by a medical specialist. The prescription should contain the name of the medication that is required to cure the child’s disease, and then KSC health department will contact the hospital to help the family financially and medically.
