Education program

Education is the key to development. Kurdistan Save the Children supports every child’s right to education in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Our aim is to encourage equal access to education and provide support to children when and where needed, promoting early child development and the best educational conduct. We try to achieve our aim by building the capacity of local educational actors with child development skills and services, filling the gaps to provide more opportunities of access to education for children of all backgrounds.

This program supervises some long term projects that include (6 Children’s Cultural Centers, Sara cultural center, Shahid Jabbar Exemplary Secondary School, Rehabilitation Center for children with special needs, Kaziwa nursery in Barika camp, Shex Jamal Shex Rashid and Axtarxan kindergartens).
