The project to train government employees to confront the difficult and dangerous work of children across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
The project was jointly implemented between the ILO and UNICEF and the Kurdistan Save the Children Organization, with the aim of familiarizing 200 relevant employees from Iraq and Kurdistan regional government institutions to working children protection, and care.
Kurdistan Save the Children, because of its experience in the system of child care and protection of working children, is conducting training through its trainers in the project.
As part of the project in Baghdad on May 25 and 26, 2022, the Kurdistan Save the Children Organization (KSC) launched a training for 26 relevant child protection workers in central and southern Iraq regarding the system of child care and protection of working children from difficult and dangerous jobs.
