Performing Spinal Correction Surgery for children

Kurdistan Save the Children with the assistance of Orthopedic Specialist Dr. Kardo Salahaddin Rauf/ Sweden and Dr. Hemn and a medical team of Shar Hospital / Sulaimani, on 18th May 2022, conducted a medical examination for 12 children with spinal irregularities, some of whom had undergone surgery in 2021.

On 16th and 17th May 2022, the team performed several successful surgeries for a number of these children at the Shar Hospital / Sulaimani. Kurdistan Save the Children thanks the Shar Hospital and Dr. Kardo and Dr. Hemn for their assistance.
