International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day, 8th of March, is a day to celebrate women’s achievements and contributions in the social, economical, political and cultural aspects of our community. Our aim is to provide young girls with the equipment they need to reach their full potential and raise awareness about gender equality and women’s rights in our community.
On The 8th Of March Kurdistan Save the Children:
* conducted a marathon for 500 youths at the Youth Activity Center- Khanaqeen and awarded the 1st till 10th girl and boy winners.
* organized an art exhibition and poem reading forum for Ms. Shadan Ali Ahmed at Sarra Cultural Center.
