Workshop for school counselors

Kurdistan Save the Children in coordination with UNICEF conducted a workshop for school counselors in Sulaimani and Hawler schools.

Within the framework of the juvenile justice program’s activities on the 2^nd and 10^th of February 2016, a workshop was conducted for 16 school counselors in Sulaimani and Hawler. Within this workshop the different subjects of child protection, child engagement and child cases were discussed.

Also within the framework of the juvenile justice program’s activities Kurdistan Save the Children in coordination with UNICEF conducted an open meeting for religious leaders in Kalar.

On the 14^th of February 2016 ,a meeting was conducted in which the role of religious leaders was discussed in spreading awareness to parents and guardians on child protection and how to interact with children to prevent them from facing legal issues.
