Spreading awareness in the community about the negative effects of child marriage
Kurdistan Save the Children held a seminar to spread awareness to the community about the negative effects of child marriage within a continuous partnership program, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Ministry of Commerce and Canadian development .
On the 25th of February 2016 at the Youth Activity Center’s hall in Kirkuk, Kurdistan Save the Children conducted a seminar for religious leaders in Kirkuk to put child marriage into light , discuss the negative effects and the role of religious leaders to prevent and lower child marriages in order to build a healthy family which is the first step in raising a healthy fully developed child .
