KSC Training Project in Rania

On November 7-9, the Training Sector of the Kurdistan Save the Children conducted a 15-hour course in Psychological Counseling and Guidance for 26 school supervisors of primary and intermediate schools in Rania.
The course, entitled Psychological Counseling and Guidance in Educational Environment, was designed and delivered by Ms. Lana Dawdi, faculty member of the College of the Human Sciences of the University of Sulaimany. The main focus of the course was on teaching supervisor how to deal with problems confronting adults and children in their daily life both at home and outside it.

The training course was an outcome of Ms. Lana’s continuing voluntary cooperation with KSC. Since the beginning of this year, Ms. Lana has delivered this course to 58 school supervisors in Sulaimany and to 48 health workers of the Soz Psychiatric Hospital in Tasluja, Sulaimany.
