Rania Youth Activity Center
On August 30, 2008, the graphic art department of Ranya Youth Activity Centre opened a painting exhibition as their participation in those various activities organized by the 'Towards eradication of violence against women' conference, this conference was held by 'Rapareen Women Activity Committee' in co operation with the CDO organization. The attendants of this exhibition were free to write their comments and ideas by chalk on the paintings.

On August 28, 2008, the music department of Ranya Youth Activity Centre has organized a music show for 17 boys and girls in the centre’s hall. The participants played on various musical instruments such as Violin, Lute, guitar and Clarinet. A huge number of people attended the music show and spent a wonderful time.

On July 15, 2008, a Swedish team entitled ‘’Improvisation Co’’ carried out a drama in the Ranya Youth Activity’ hall. Maria, Kamilla, Robert and Talar Hirany played role in the drama. This came after a workshop on drama for the youth of the centre.

On 3 August 2008, the Youth Activity Center of Ranya opened an exhibition for 13 printing-presses, press institutions and libraries. In the exhibition, more than 1500 sources were available on Philosophy, History, Literature, Religion, Computer science and Children. They are written in Kurdish, Arabic and Persian languages. The buyers were given %20-25 discount.

* On 29 July 2008, the Youth Activity Centre of Rania, invited a number of Sulaimaniya artists to participate in a seminar entitled ‘Project Game’ the aim of the seminar was to discuss, and exchange information between the artists from Sulaimaniya and the youth who participated in the project to gain more skills.
**On the same day the Youth Activity Centre of Rania, opened a graphic art exhibition for Art Department youths to show their art activities to the visitors of the centre.
